Class Act
The Superclass - seen, but not heard, a herd.
The Underclass - spoken of, but not felt, spent.
The Middleclass - squeezed in the middle, beige and conformed.
Then the rest; the others; the not from round ‘eres.
Ambitious and travelled, with stories to tell, all working together - class!
The pattern? Wage slaves! Varying debt, searching for satisfaction, rarely met.
Saying to themselves “we’re not part of the mess” - but they’re all working - so working class?
